CWA Staff and Students Celebrating Pride Month.
College of West Anglia Celebrates Pride Month
This June, students, and staff across all our CWA campuses came together to celebrate Pride Month.
Pride takes place every June and celebrates LGBTQ+ people and communities. Pride commemorates the Stonewall riots that took place in June 1969 in New York. Pride Month represents an opportunity for the CWA community to reflect on all the ways they can contribute to creating a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for all LGBTQ+ students and staff.
The week commencing the 5th June a variety of events were held at our Cambridge, Wisbech and King’s Lynn campuses. Activities included badge making, jumbo board games, painting live music and even an egg and spoon race!
