CWA signs two year EU project deal
The uniformed services department at the College of West Anglia has embarked on a two year European Union funded project for Safety and Security along with four other partner countries: Finland, Netherlands, Ireland and Hungary.
Each country will take it in turn to host the Erasmus partners for a five day workshop/ seminar for their respective area of expertise that they are developing. CWA has been tasked with producing material and information relating to radicalisation and terrorist related matters. At the end of the project all the information developed will be distributed across the wider European community.
Last month, Lee Mallott, programme manager for uniformed services, attended the first meeting in Finland which was a success. Lee said: "This was a great opportunity to meet colleagues who work in the same educational environment and begin to share good practice for developing common resources to use with our learners."
