Tickets £5 Once Upon a Time… The Performing Arts Department put on a show, and invited all the people of the Kingdom to watch, and rejoice. “But we are too busy!” The people cried in dismay. Thankfully at that moment, a Fairy Godmother appeared, and solved the problem with a wave of her magic wand. “Never fear, good people, for Tuesday’s Matinee Performance is an Open Performance – you can attend for so long as you have time, at any time between 1:30 and 3:15pm. The Magic Portal (theatre doors) will be open between these hours and you may freely come and go as you please!”. All was still not well, however. “But we have no gold coins!”, cried the people. “Never fear! The matinee performances each day are free to student groups. If your Rulers (teachers) want to bring an entire village (class), all they have to do is utter the magic words (via email to Kirsty Holmes) – Can We Book A Student Group Please (date and time) – and your wishes will be granted!” And with a wave of her magic wand, the Fairy Godmother disappeared to get on with some marking. And lo, the people did rejoice, and came to see the work that the Performing Arts students had created. They revelled in the dancing, were amazed at the acting, laughed at the comedy and wept tears of joy at the remarkable singing talents of the passing performers. The Drama Queen and The Duchesses of Dance were pleased, the Handsome Prince of the Lighting Desk was appeased, the students got excellent grades, and the Kingdom of CWA was happy once again. And They All Lived Happily Ever After.   The End.
