Introducing the first of our spring arrivals!
It has been a busy lambing season at Woodside Farm at the college’s Cambridge campus with over 8 lambs being born already this year.
The first lamb was born on the 20th February 2019 to proud parents Jemima and Nigel. He is a ram-lamb and weighed 3.6kg.

Lecturer, Rhys Wendwolt, said: “We’re expecting a busy lambing season this year at the farm, with many more lambs expected in the coming months, especially when the students return after the Easter period .”
Woodside farm is currently home to 15 Pedigree Norfolk Horns plus 11 lambs, as well as 37 commercial sheep in the main flock. These numbers include ewes, rams, and gimmers.
