Created with Nokia Smart Cam Uniformed services students from the Wisbech campus got a glimpse of life on the beat, during a visit to March Police Station, on Wednesday 13 January 2016. Police SGT Caroline Scully of Cambridgeshire Police hosted the level 2 students, considering a career in the police force, for a morning visit to the station. Students met the on-duty Custody Police Sergeant who explained the intricacies of placing someone into police cells and learnt the process of questioning and locking-up. The group also experienced sitting in various types of fast response vehicles and even tried on police equipment such as riot control gear.
