Student Life & Support
Help and advice for parents and students, including financial aid, how to get to our campuses, and the support we can offer you to really help you succeed.
We are delighted that your young person has chosen to study with us. We will do our utmost to support them during their time with us to help them reach their full potential and career aspirations.
We've had another signficiant increase in applications for many of our courses this year and some courses are considered full or are nearly at capacity. You are unable to apply for a course which is full on our website and we will already be holding a waiting list.
We're still accepting applications for the following courses (last updated on Friday 19th September). Please search your chosen course and click apply for 2025. You should expect a call or email from us in the next couple of days with an update on your application but, just because there is space on the course currently, does not mean there will be by the time we process your application and we cannot guarantee that you'll be offered a place on your chosen programme.
You can find most of the information you need to know about starting at CWA in September on this page.
It's really important that you complete your enrolment on the student portal and book a time to come into the college to collect your ID card and lanyard.
There's a few things you'll need to consider between accepting your offer and starting your course. This page has everything you need to know!
If you don't achieve a 4 or above in English and / or Maths, you will continue to study the subjects with us at CWA.
If you haven't lived in the UK for the last three years, you might not be funded to study at CWA.
The college operates a financial support scheme which can help students whose financial circumstances make it difficult for them to meet the costs associated with study.
All students aged 16-18 on the first day of their course will have their course fully-funded by the government (i.e. there is no course fee). Depending on the course, there may be additional costs such as equipment/uniform, printing and educational trips.
Now that you’ve completed your application, you’ll shortly hear from us to book an information session for your course.
Are you aged 19 or older* and thinking about further education? With an Advanced Learner Loan, there are no upfront costs and you won't start to pay anything back until you earn at least £27,295 a year.
For some of our courses, it is necessary to have relevant equipment or clothing (e.g. protective clothing), whilst for some others, we offer optional college-branded clothing.
