The Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Nail Technology faculties at CWA are supporting the Look Good, Feel Better Charity with a week of fun raising events. The week will run from 14th to 19th December and will have events at both King’s Lynn and Isle Campuses, supported by Students and Staff. Activities include hair styling, manicures, nail art, beauty treatments and leg waxing with the money raised going to the charity. There will even be and Christmasgrams, where for a donation harmonious hairdressers will sing Christmas songs to chosen recipients. Other activities include a cake sale and guess the number of sweets in a jar completion. Activities will be happening throughout week in ‘The Hub’ at King’s Lynn and Main Reception area at Isle. Look Good Feel Better is the only worldwide cancer support charity, providing practical support for women struggling with the side effects from cancer treatment. The charity which celebrated it’s 20th anniversary this year, provides free skincare and make-up workshops which are held in over 70 hospitals and cancer care centres throughout the UK.
